About Me

My dad bought my first Pony when I was 5 and I was hooked. After awhile he sold the pony and as I grew older I purchased and sold many horses. Then I raised Snip, and my daughter and I broke him. I am glad to have him, he has traveled with me over the years and actually is my bestfriend. We have riden Pigeon Mtn Chickamauga, Ga and Warwoman in Clayton, Ga and traveled several wagon trains.
I have been married and divorced several times but I still have him. I raised my daughter (April) who is now 23 years old and has the same love for horses that I do and she is a much better rider than I.( she is much younger) LOL She can make a bad horse look great and move wonderfully. She has a beautiful paint (Rascal) She loves to Barrel Race and I sure do miss riding with her on that Pigeon Mtn. Due to the economy and jobs, we sold our house in Social Circle. :( Hard labor creek is a good place to exercise and teach a young horse. We Moved to Chickamauga (beautiful place with lots of trails) then had to move to Raleigh, NC. This is suppose to be the largest horse community, Yeah Right!! Nothing but flat land, no mountains unless you drive 3 hours, They don't even have a Horse Town here. It is hard to find Tack Stores....You ask about Jackpots and the people just look at ya funny. We are out in the country and plenty of neighbors have horses but never see anyone riding. What is up with these people here???
I am sooo ready to move back to GA. There is no place like home!!
