Has been an Equestrian Life Member since April 22, 2009, lives in Byron, Minnesota, United States and considers herself a Amateur in the Western discipline of Pleasure and Trail and Halter and Halter Showmanship and Western Riding. She also rides English Hunter / Jumper. She is affiliated with Spieth Appaloosas.
I was born into a horse family. I spent my first six years living on a cattle ranch in the Colorado Rockies. We then moved to Grand Junction, Colorado but I wasn't without horses for very long. At the age of 12, my grandad bought me a nine-year-old Appaloosa mare and it was all down hill from there. I quickly became involved in 4-H and the Appaloosa Youth Association. Me and my Appaloosas held our own in open compition. I was also involved in Quarter horses as well with the purchase of a four month old filly that same year. My father and I have worked hard to raise performance horses who will do well in the halter pen as well. We one day hope to realize our dream of breeding, raising, training and showing these horses in both the ApHC and AQHA.
