About Me
Hey there!
I have two horses, Minuet and Psyche. Minuet is a adorable chestnut National Show Horse with a cute little star. I ride her on trails, roads, fields and do a couple small shows in summer, competing in English Pleasure. I might start taking Dressage lessons on her this summer if I can afford it, and if not we'll be busy navigating the roads and learning more together.
Psyche is a fancy little Arab. He's up for sale, mainly because I don't want two horses anymore due to $$ issues, and I want someone more "into him" to use him. He needs a more experienced person to finish off his training and give him a serious JOB. I broke him out and taught him lots of groundwork, so I learnt a lot with him. Hopefully he sells this spring or summer, so I can save up for a car. He's a 6-yr-old registered chestnut with four socks. A real cutie!
I'm not into horses as much as I used to be. They are fun, but VERY expensive and time-consuming. I have other interests, and especially cannot afford the fancy equipment, trainers, and etc. to do well in shows. I've accepted that all I'll be is a back-yard horse lover who messes around with "junky" horses. It's OK. I've learned more than I imagined possible about horse behavior, and basic training. I love natural horsemanship, being the "boss" horse and all and I'll spend as many years as I can enjoying Minuet, a horse I will hopefully have the pleasure of calling my own....for a long time.
