About Me
I am a camper and trail rider at heart. My favorite pass time is riding in the Gila Wilderness, which is any where from an hour to a three hour drive, depending on which trail we are tackling.
Because of a mare that was having issues, I became interested in the bare foot movement about two years ago. I guess you can say I developed a real "foot fetish" and have started trimming my own horses and researching and learning everything I possibly can about hoof care.
I use Parelli methods to play with my horses and learning this process has been a great journey for me and my three horses. It is amazing what a connection you can make with each horse when you try to see the world from their point of view.
I am a lover of all animals and would probably have more of them if my husband wasn't here to keep me in check. I want to rescue any dog, cat or horse that I think needs rescuing! I also love taking pictures and most of my subjects are...you guessed it - animals!
