I have been riding horses for 7 years now. I ride primarily Hunt Seat, but I also have extensive experience in Jumpers, Hunter (over fences), and Western riding.
I currently do not own any horses due to a freak move across the country in which I lost everything and everyone. I was heartbroken to give up my Thoroughbred gelding, Whacha, but Whacha deserves an amazing future whether it is with me or not.
My first horse was a 14yo 14hh Morgan mare named Mindy who I sold after breeding, then I was given a 3yo 16.3hh Thoroughbred gelding named Whacha who I owned for a year and 5 months before having to let go of along with a Paint horse, Thoroughbred cross pony filly named Baby who I had raised from a 2 week old. Every horse has made a substantial impact in my life and in who I am today. The physical labor I have put into living my dream has taught me incredible discipline and I would never have it any other way. Sadly my dream has ended for what looks like a very long time. Hopefully I will be able to partake in the joys and hardships or horse ownership at some point in my adult future.
