About Me

my name is Holly. ive been riding since i was 2 years old. i currently have 2 horses. i recently sold my miniature to my 8 yr old neighbor. she looooves him and im happy he went somewhere so close where i know he'll be loved :)

I just lost my beloved Camelot, all thanks to colic :( he was my life.. a huge part of me died with him. he was simply the most amazing horse I've met. I know I'll never never own another horse as amazing as he was.

Although I know I'll never have Camelot back, or own another horse like him, i know i have to carry on and just remember all the memories we had together. I just rescued a little blind paint horse, Indie.. he's... completely opposite of what im used to. however, im going to give the little abused pony the best life he could ask for.

What is your horses favorite treat?: anything really..
Does your horse have grain? If so how often?: yes, country acres 12% twice a day
How long have you had your horse?: over 2 years
Have you ever ridden your horse bareback?: i rarely use a saddle actually. unless im jumping
What tricks does your horse know?: bow, lay down re,ar and buck on command. all word commands.
Have you ever galloped on your horse?: all the time! :)
Have you ever cantered on your horse?: yes
Does your horse have an enemy?: not really
Does your horse have a best friend?: me, and tommy
Does your horse kick?: only when i had my mini
Does your horse bite?: on accident cause his lips are so big. and he steals my beanies all the time
Has your horse ever bucked or reared you off?:bucked once or twice
Has your horse ever had an injury?: yeah, a few bumps and scrapes.
When your horse does something you ask, such as side step or a flying lead change, how do you reward them?: pat on the shoulder and a hug :)
Does your horse choose you as the leader?: yeah
Have you ever lounged your horse? yeah, im the summer i usually do atleast once a week. and in the winter when its too cold to actually work him.
