About Me
I have been a horse lover my entire life! I have two businesses. Darby Stables Home of The Picture Pony "Where Horses Rein!" and The Picture Pony. I have 12 Horses, Star, a bay QuarterHhorse mare who is a retired barrell racer, Cola, a western pleasure Skewbald Paint, Nevada, a black Mustang gelding who was a rescue horse, Cheyenne, a black and white Paint mare specializing in western pleasure and trail, Josey, another black and white Paint mare that is also a retired barrell racer and wonderful mother to Spud. Spud is my handsome 2 yr old tri colored stud Paint who is the son of Josey, Waylon is a goofy fun loving red roan Appaloosa gelding with lots of personality. Molly is a beautiful 2 yr old paint/appy cross. Red roan with a smaill snowflake blannket and white socks, and Rusty is a sorrell Appaloosa Draft Cross with a large white blanket. Belle is a yearling haflinger cross that has a very loving personality and is very gentle. Dottie is a black and white Leopard Appaloosa Rescue that is very sweet and has been bred time and time again and now is retiring from breeding with me. Levi is a 17.2 hand bay TB who is a gentle giant. He is spending retirement with me due to a previous suspensory injury. I have 4 ponies, Pebbles, a brown Hackney Pony mare with lots of white chrome! Pepper, a black and white Appaloosa pony who is great with kids! Casper, an all white Appaloosa Welsh mix gelding with tons of personality, he is the face of The Picture Pony. And Willie, a chocolate Shetland pony gelding that was a rescue and as a result of abuse he suffered he only has one eye. He is a sweet pony with lots of love to give! I have 1 Mini and he is named Jet. He is Jet black and is built like a tank! He is so handsome and has a very sweet loving personality. My precious Appaloosa mare, Babe who inspired the start of my horse businesses passed awayat the age of 16 after an etremely short, fast moving bout with lymphoma cancer on May 3, 2010. She will never be forgotten!
