About Me
Horses have been a passion of mine since the day i was born, and no matter what I have always found a way to be around them.
I own a young and beautiful gray Arabian mare named Rio. I am training her my self and she has been nothing but a pleasure to work with.
I am a huge fan of Clintan Anderson natural horsemanship, i find it simple, effective, and easy to understand. www.downunderhorsemanship.com. I also am in lOVE with Myler Bits they have turn the bit world upside down!
I work at a tack and western clothing store. It is amazing how much I learn everyday just from working there.
Rio calls Hillcrest stables home. At Hillcrest she enjoys a stall with a large turn out attached. This is where i spend ALL of my free time, like any other horse person :).
I grew up riding on a ranch, we rode anytime, anywhere, and anytime we could with out getting in to much trouble. we had no rules other then if you fall off you have to get back on (whether you wanted to or not) and if you cant get back on don't get off .
I am really interested in endurance racing and Ride and Ties. I know next to nothing about it so if you would like to share any info or tips i would love to chat!
