About Me

I grew up on horses. I ran barrels and all the timed events. I never had any big bloodlined horses growning up, just had to make do with what we had on the ranch. I started training and working problem horses before I was 13. I worked other ranches to make money to buy more horses. Im working ranches again, finishing horses at a ranch that breeds Paints. I love my job. I have 3 Horses at home with me now. My Gelding is a slow moving trail horse who hates any speed over a jog. My hubby and son ride him. Ihave 2 mares who only I ride. Shandee is a big Paint mare who has some attitude issues but is an amazing saddle horse. I trail ride and run her at the local Gymkhanas. My other mare is a solid Paint mare out of Si Olena. She was left to me in a will after the ranch owner I worked for passed away last year. We bonded while I was working and riding for the ranch. She is a work in progress as she was used mainly as a Broodmare for the last 5-6 yrs. Im still figuring on what her job will be. I love my horses and am lucky enought to live somewhere that the Horse community is very active.
