Has been an Equestrian Life Member since November 14, 2009, lives in United States and considers herself a Amateur in the English discipline of Dressage. Sue owns 2 horses: Donatio, Liski.
I caught the horse bug as a kid from my best friend - it's highly contagious apparently! I took group lessons weekly as a kid and did Pony Club on borrowed ponies, gymkhanas etc. I finally bought my first horse, a TB mare, when I finished grad school in my early 20's. Got a loan from IBM where I was working, to buy the horse, when I really needed a car instead! I evented her until I had kids a few years later. I had 3 sons, then switched to dressage, which I have been doing since 1996. I've owned several wonderful horses, one of which I had the honor and pleasure of showing from 2nd level thru Grand Prix. Currently I have a 7 y.o Swedish gelding and a 9 y.o. Trakehner gelding.
