Hey- Im Ali, Im 14 years old.
Horses are my life. My mom had saddlebreds when she was little. and when my dad was dating her, he was around horses. Both side of my family have been around horses, so i guess horses run in my blood :) . I've been riding for about 4 years now. When i first started out, i was completly scared of horses, but werent we all ? I learned pretty fast how 2 ride. The highest ive jumped is about 3ft. I was all into jumping when i first started lessons, then i got bored of it. thats when i got my boy Vinnie :) , hes my life, I love him to bits. Hes trained 3d level in dressage, and used 2 be in eventing and cross country. I was told he went threw hell, and was skin and bones before. Well his old owner didnt ride him very offten, so when i bought him, he wasnt exactly in shape, he used 2 form up as soon as u got on him, but scince he wasnt riden 4 ever, he lost that. So when i got him, we went threw some rought times, but got threw it. Ive had him for about a year and 3months. Were doing so much better than when we first met. We have this big bond, he whinnies to me in the field when he hears my voice. He follows me with out a lead rope. yes he gets mad at me sometimes, and i get mad at him sometimes, but thats just what peoples friendships do also... He doesnt form up when i get on him, but if i get his speed right, and get him straight, he forms up. We are still taking lessons, i plan to takes lessons for as long as i can. Vin is my 1st horse, and couldnt of asked for a better 1st horse.
