Has been an Equestrian Life Member since December 03, 2009, lives in Glen Robertson, Ontario, Canada and considers herself a Amateur in the Western discipline of Trail and Western Riding and Endurance and Barrel Racing and Gymkhana . Noemie owns 2 horses: Forever Rainbows, Sunny Delight.
I've started riding lessons at the age of 9, and at 12 I got my first horse, Seraphim. She was a beautiful 16.2 chestnut Thoroughbred mare.
Two years late I also bought a little 12.2 Haflinger/Shetland cross pony mare named Sunny that I trained for my little sister to ride.
in 2008, my parents bought a house on 5 acres with a little barn and we now have our horses in the back yard. It seemed great and wonderful at first but...it's really not that fantastic. You have no indoor riding arena, and no one to ride with. It is quite boring sometimes. I do miss the public barn life.
A year later, I traded Sera for another horse called Rambo, with my friend Emily with whom I use to ride with. I really do miss my lovely Seraphim, she was a wonderful, gorgeous mare :(
I originally learned to ride in an English saddle, but now I am more currently focused on Western Riding. I enjoy trail riding and barrel racing, but I spend most of my time just...riding around and having fun! I plan to attend some Western shows this summer with Rambo!
At the moment I give a couple of riding lessons at my house during the summer.
My ultimate goal is to get my Western Coaching and possibly my English Coaching and to own my own boarding/lesson/training stable :)
