About Me
BRAMASOLE ("BRAMA-SÓ-LEY") was founded late in the Summer of 2009. Translated from the Italian word, Bramasole literally means "To Yearn for the Sun". That is an ideal in itself for many of us personally as we look to the Sun for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. It is also the name of a special Villa in Tuscany Italy that proved to be so restorative to American Author Frances Mayes - who in finding her inner strength inspired us long ago to do so as well. So here we are, we've finally begun building this dream.
We started with 4 horses, 2 small paddocks and a round pen so we had no where to go but up from there. In the next few short months, we have built a hay barn, run in sheds and additional fencing, our 150 x 75 outdoor arena, cleared TONS of space, finished phase one of our barn which now has four premier stalls, and are in the process of running our power & water back to the barn.
We are in the process of putting up phase two of our barn, along with more pastures and finishing projects... all at the same time as we embark on the breeding program. We are expecting our first high end Trakehner Foal for Spring 2011, which is very exciting! All in all we are super busy and indeed, super blessed! From our Family to yours, Salute!!
