About Me
As a native New Yorker it was impossible to fulfill my childhood dream of owning a horse. So after 911 I decided to ditch the nitty gritty of the big city and moved to Maryland where I was able to introduce myself to the glory of horse ownership. It has been an incredible journey getting t o know my equine partner, and has changed my life in many many ways.
My Red Dun Quarter Horse Harley has taught me about life, relationships, patience, but most of all has inspired me creatively to try a new path creatively. You can see all that she has shown me in my modern day cowgirl body of artwork. I am professional muralist by nature, but when I injured myself on a job site in late 2008 I had a boot on each foot and couldn't ride or see Harley for almost 4 months! So I delved into my photo library and decided to create a western themed body of work in a medium that I haven't used in quite some time. Linocuts. So I hand carved and hand printed 17 artworks based on contemporary cowgirl and cowboy life.
I invite you to join the ride, because its going to be a great one!
Looking forward to meeting you!
