About Me
Alright, well, here's the short version...
I grew up adoring horses and spent any second around them that I could, but my parents couldn't afford lessons, so my dreams were put on hold... until college.
I joined the equestrian team at Indiana University during my junior year in college. I competed and took lessons for a semester and knew then that I needed a horse of my own. I rescued Trigger in February of 2003, he was a long yearling at the time. I raised, rehabilitated, and trained Trigger by myself with help from my equestrian team coach and friend. Trigger and I tried every discipline out there, from trail riding to pleasure (english and western) to team penning before finally settling on dressage. I competed Trigger in 2009 at Training and First Level, I loved it, however, he did not and so I retired him from competing.
This is about the time that I found Nevy, my lovely 3 year old Friesian Sport Horse filly. I'm hoping to eventually compete her at the upper levels. :)
