About Me

Hello! My name is Erin and I found this website through facebook. I thought it would be a great website since I want to learn as much as I can about riding to help improve my riding abilities. I have only been riding four about a year and one month, although it hasn't felt that long. It takes me a long time to have things click in my head before I start doing them right, but I'm getting there. I love riding and it's the best part of my week and wouldn't stop for anything in the world. It keeps me sane. And I hope one day to be knowledgeable enough to safely own a horse of my very own. I feel as though I haven't even opened the door to step into the equine world and I'm still in the shallow pond of what it's about and what goes on. I would love to start competing in small competitions such as the ones held at the barn for the students and gradually move on to other ones. I wish I did start riding when I was much younger because I am twenty-one now, but I'm glad I started riding at all. I'm also hoping to take my riders level one eventually and that would be a huge step for me. Well that is all about me and my goals and thoughts about riding. Hopefully it's written fairly clearly.
