About Me

I have been riding since I was like four, but I have been around horses since I was in the womb. My family is into racing Thoroughbreds so they are my favorite breed along with Quarter Horses! My family has had a ton of race horses, breeding horses, and foals, but only recently has one actually been mine. We always had the foals and broodmares in Kentucky and the racers at the track. But then we had gotten rid of all of the Thoroughbreds, and we were taking a break.

I couldn't stand my life without horses in it so I finally convinced my dad, also a lover of horses, that we needed to get a horse again. I met Dream in October 2009 and she was an injured Thoroughbred off the track with two bowed tendons. I fell in love with her. She was the first horse we had looked at, but I knew she was THE ONE. My dad took more convincing though, and we had looked at other horses. We were going to get a different mare, but my mind kept going back to Dream. Anyway we called one day to check on the other mare we were looking at and she was sold. I knew then that Dream was the one for sure! We bought Dream February 2010 and it was one of the happiest days of my life. Her full name is Sticktoyourdreams and that's what I had to do to get her. She healed great and was in-foal March 2010. She had a colt March 2011 and that was the other happiest day of my life. I love horses and they are a huge part of my life even though they can give you a hard time sometimes! :) Right now we are breeding my mare and either keeping and racing her babies or selling them. I am really involved with horse racing and I love it! :) Also now I am totally into Cutting! I just bought my first cutting horse on 5/13/13 and I just love her! Showing in Cutting on her right away so watch for cutting photos :) God has truly blessed me! :)
