I grew up on a hack line, guiding trails for the public.. i also showed some western pleasure and huntseat, and gymkhana/barrels/poles... that was a blast.. unfortunately my horses were never very good ;) so i moved to english where i had quite a bit more success.. Jumping is really fulfilling.. every distance was an accomplishment... After I had done some showing i moved on with a sales agent and i 'explored' NC with her.. from QHs, to TBs, Mustangs, Lippizzans, Racking and Walking horses, Saddlebreds, ponies.. a conglomerant of horses who honed my ability to understand and work with greenies (With some much needed direction from a farrier and natural horsemanship enthusiast)
In the past few years i have slowly started my career as a starting trainer/problem solver with all disciplines, and I teach english lessons in hunters/jumpers/and dressage.
I have a baby due off my RIDSH in April, my newest horse is going into training for eventing, and my lesson horse is still figuring things out on wether he wants to go full time or not.. him and his hocks are still on the fence and out of shape right now..
