I feed my horse Cavalor strucomix and performix but I've been having issues in ordering the feed. One the person who I go through doesn't want to use it anymore and second the distributor said I need to order 100bags to get free shipping, my horse is doing so well I hate to switch again feed. So if anybody knows anyone that sales Cavalor feed and willing to ship Hawaii for a reasonable shipping cost let me know

Hey all. my horse is acting weird. He stays in the barn most of the time and he isnt very hyper. he walks very slow and it looks like it hurts him to walk. i dont know whats wrong with him! any ideas? i was thinkin it could be arthritis or like some hoof problem? idk

What insurance company do you use for your horse, as the horse that i compete on is insured under KBIS British equestrian insurance...but i was curious as to costs and whether there might be something cheeper she could use? x

Did everyone have a good weekend?? We did...started out thinking I would work around the home farm, that didnt last long...rode Storm in a gynkhanna on Saturday and met my goal earlier then expected to ride myy mare Sugar in a gymkhanna. I am very pleased with her.

So my horse had an abcess, probably 3 months ago on his rear heel/bulb. He now has a crack going from the back of his hoof to about 3 inches towards the center of his hoof. He hasn't been sore or acting like it's bothering him for the last weeks/months. But today he was limping a bit and acting like his feet were bothering him, so I picked out his hooves and was looking, poking at his crack and he jerked away pretty roughly. I do have the farrier coming out in a few days to trim and check it out. But everytime I've asked about his crack, I'm told it's fine, it's just going to take some time to heal because of the location. He is barefoot and I was debating asking if I should put shoes on his rear feet to help with the pressure, but I really do not want to put shoes on him. We don't do a lot of hard riding either. Anyone have any advice, ideas on how I can make him more comfortable if this is the issue? Cracks just freak me out, I feel like if it keeps going the way it's…

My family and I went down to Kentucky whle they were setting up for te FEI world equestrian games. I got to see everything and a couple of riders before it even started. I didn't actually get to see the games though. Who went and what did you think if it?

My three year old filly has kind of a long bulge around her naval area. I pressed it gently, and it doesn't seem to hurt her. It's kind of squishy. It looks like the fly's have really been going for that area, also. Might it be a hernia? Or allergy's? About last week I first noticed it and it was pretty small. It's gotten a lot larger over the week. There is a picture of it in My Corral uploads. http://www.equestrianlife.com/photos/1000007844600/56021 We're taking one of our horses to the vet to get preg checked tomorrow, so I'll ask him about it, also. I wanted to know what you guys think :)
