okay so i had something happen friday that makes me wonder how many other people have had this happen. ive had my paint mare for a year and a couple months now and we've had our moments and i almost got rid of her a few months back, now im really glad i kept her and im never gonna sell her. i went to go feed her and my aunts morgan quarter cross friday evening and i whistled to call em down out f the pasture and i see flashes of black so i thought it was my aunts horse coming and it turned out to be a black coyote and he was carging at me i was so scared and i dont know why but i yelled out my paints name and next thing i knew she was busting down the hill charging the coyote and she chased him off then came trottin over to me. i crawled up on her back when i was finally able to move if it werent for my paint i would of got attacked by the coyote. i just wanna know how many people out there have been saved by their horse? theres my story now i wanna hear yours

My horse was in the cross ties in the aisle and someone was trying to get their horse past. this horse was known for charging and bucking, kicking, rear and striking out. I tried to unhook my horse so he could get by but he just kept coming with Brat (the mean horses name). Well, Brat decided he was going to buck at that moment. My horse leaned into him as he did and I only got kicked in the legs as Art's weight prevented his legs from going any higher. If my horse had not leaned into Brat as he kicked I would have gotten two back hooves to the face instead of just to my legs.

Wow great story, our horses are so smart and so compassionate, the bond between horse and owner/person is amazing. I don't have any stories about my horses saving me but I have so enjoyed hearing everyone elses.

it wass a very bad experience for me im having problems with gettin over it but each day since ive thanked god for bringing me my paint . we had an accident almost a year ago that left her lame for a few months and left part of my lower back numb and i couldnt get her to ride for a long time after she was cleared so i moved her where shes at so i could spend every day rehabilitating her and shes turned around one hundred and ten percent nut i never thought of us having a bond strong enough for her to risk herself for me till i seen her do it friday. when she came down to me after chasing him off i crawled on her back and cried into her mane ive always seen that kinda stuff on tv but never thought id have it happen to me. thanks to those who have already shared their stories i love hearing about every ones experience and even if you didnt have an experence like that thank you for taken interest in this and id love to hear more stories
