My horse is getting a bit tubby. He is out 24/7 on pasture and I only get to work him on weekends so looking into a grazing muzzle for him. Two other horses in his pasture are wearing them now. Does anyone else use them?

I thought about it, but we started bringing them in at night instead.

If you can't bring them in, a grazing muzzle will help (unless they find a way to take it off!) My friend has used them before she has a run in barn. Where the horses can come in and out as they please. She had a grazing muzzle on the little pony who was getting a little too chunky, it helps with prevention of founder.

Never used them....except for this old mare that was boarded at the barn...she had no teeth and couldnt eat hay or grass so when she went out she wore a muzzle. Glad you found something that will work for you.

We have a horse that wears one at my barn. He keeps founfering (I think it's because they are still feeding him grain and allow him to go out and graze) so when he goes out they put a grazing muzzle on him. I need to get one for my pony that my suster gave me who has also foundered.
