Uug. Today is a hot day and the horse flies are out in full force. What do you use to discourage the horse flies? Our horses are going nuts. The only thing that seems to help is keeping the horses soaked.

I use ultra shield sport. Which seems to work pretty well.
The flies aren't super bad right now where we are though..so i don't know how well it's going to work.
We also give them a feed through that has garlic in it.

I heard that Pyranha insect spray is the best. Bug block seams to work well to.

I use ultra shield and spray the belly, legs and chest really well. I wipe it on the ears, in the ears and around the eyes. Visit Link

My woosey horses are inside infront of their fans, but when I trail ride I use the spot stuff that lasts for a week or so, and fly masks.
