What kind of topical ointment is good for minor scraps around the face area? My horse as several scraps from unknown source. Everyday I go to clean feed and groom her I find a new scrap. I let her run in the arena and she got another one on her forehead. She is so accident prone. Minor type of course.

Vertrycin works really well for the smaller cuts.
We also use swat for areas away from the face. It helps with healing and keeps the bugs off.

I use Nature's Aid on Joker's head. On other areas, I use Herbal Solution by Schreiner.
