vinegar. You can spray it on them directly, put it in their water, feed it to them, or mix some with water and sugar pour it in a bottle with holes big enough for the flies to get in and hang it somewhere in the barn/paddock.

The flies haven't been too bad it's the constant rain, really keeping an eye on their hooves
