i actually spray apple cider vinegar on my horse. i grab the wrong spray bottle and i just put alittle bit on til i saw thats the wrong bottle. will it be ok? i know ithey say on the internet it will help keep flies away in their water and food. it sounds like a dumb question but im curious

it's fine.
We just made our own fly spray that has apple cider vinegar in it.
Just watch for hives.

I think you should be fine. But I would give your horse a nice bath. Hope everything is good.

I spray mine with full strength plain white vinegar to deter flies/mozzies in Summer. I give them both apple cider vinegar in their feed. Spraying with a little by mistake will NOT hurt your horse at all :-)

ACV is good for all sorts of things...we also add some to our dogs water and use it as a leave on conditioner for the dogs...deters fleas.

i've known a lot of people to prefer vinegar solutions to store bought fly sprays.. i'm pretty sure their solutions were diluted further than what would be bought in a grocery store.. but just keep an eye on your horse for skin irritation, but s/he should be ok.

thank you guys i just spray his legs with it til i saw it was the wrong bottle. he is due for another bath soon.
