hey my cousin owns alot of gaited horses including tennesse walkers. ive ridden them alot so i think i can help. when your ridding one try to keep your upper body still. if u have a good gaited one ur head shouldnt move when you sit. kind of like riding western pleasure u just got to relax. but its really fun just ride like a regular horse =]

I roda a TN Walker for 2yrs and they dont like to be pushed around! They are very calm and love to please you! The mare I rode hated to trot, lope, canter, flying canter, and gallop, all she wanted to do was stand or walk! The mare I rode also LOVED to jump, as well as I do! They are awesome jumpers, I jump my mare over a 3ft jump bareback and she cleared it! The are a stubborn breed too! Thats all i can think f, tell me if that helps! :-)
