UC Davis is known for it's equine science. I believe there is a colorado school and one in Texas that are also good.

I agree UC Davis is awesome, I used to live there and even had a horse there in traction. However I recall Sweet Briar College in Roanoke Virginia had an exsclusive program too.

Do you mean like best competitive equestrian team, OR best equine studies/equine science program?

Because there is a big difference between those two things.

Michigan State University has a great equine science program. We lived about 1/2 mile from their Horse Training and Research barns and I think they even let you bring your horse with you to school and keep it at one of the barns. Anyway, it's a great school and definitely worth checking out! Visit Link
