Can't remember what it is called. It is a move where the horse kind of walks or dances in place. I think it starts with a "P", but not sure. Also the move where you get a horse to jump when there is nothing to jump????? Anyone know what I am talking about? Rick

I don't exactly know how to explain this, but I ride a speedy horse whom I am having trouble slowing up while cantering. I try squeezing and then releasing on the reins, but its not doing me any good. I try to keep my heels off of her as much as possible, but she still speeds up. Help?

When looking to buy a green horse for a specific discipline (in my case, eventing) what kinds of things should I be looking for? What specific conformation or personality traits? Soundness, of course, I get a full vet check (bloodwork, x-rays, etc.) on any horse I buy, but is there anything else?

My yearling is very difficult to motivate. He enjoys stepping over ground poles on the lead line, but I don't want that to become routine for him. Any ideas on games for him?
