I've already liked Equestrian Life on facebook (and my little sidebar on here from facebook says I've liked it) but I've never gotten the points for it, nor does it have that "achievement" checked off... How can I fix that?

I live in Denver Colorado and am looking to move my horse out here. She lives about 45mins away from me right now so it's really difficult to find the time to exercise her. I am just graduating from college and starting my career pretty soon. Does anyone know of a place that is fairly inexpensive in the Denver area? (Golden, Littleton, etc. are okay too). It doesn't have to be a full-care facility if it is close enough to where I will be living, so even a private residence with some room available would work. Arenas (outside and inside) are preferred, and she LOVES trail riding. Thanks, Victoria

Does anyone have any experience showing in Arabian/HA/AA Sport Horse In-Hand classes? I want to take my youngster to the local AHA show in May and want to show him in the Sport Horse classes. What should I wear? Is there more than one pattern they run, or is it just the small/large triangle I have seen at Open Breeding Futurity shows? Any help would be appreciated!

Followed a link on a wiki, then joined... http://www.equestrianlife.com/mw/Hansom_cab Been doing a LOT of digging. I know of a company that makes Hansom Cabs to order and one that was in use in Florida in 2008... Can't find a way to comment, but would like to see the wiki updated. Have emailed (and awaiting replies) a Farrier and the company that was running the Hansom Cab. NOT absolutely sure it's still in use, but shouldn't the wiki be updated to at least show that one or more are still being used commercially?

I have started my horse on a whole food diet and it is amazing the physical and mental change. I owe it all to Bio Star Eq. I encourge everyone to at least check out the profound research and evidence on whole food diets for horses and give Bio Star Eq a call. They are excellent at helping you come up with a feeding program and it is actually cheaper than buying commercial grains. I will NEVER feed a commercial grain again! Check out these links. Let me know your thoughts. https://soundcloud.com/#susan-wachowich/biostar-lecture-at-mayfaire http://www.dressagedaily.com/article/saving-her-grand-prix-dressage-horse-created-company-tigger-montague-biostar http://www.biostareq.com/ http://wholefoodforhorses.com/forum http://www.holistichorsekeeping.com/resources/articles/papaya.html

So I was thinking who should Zenyatta's next "boyfriend" be after her Tapit foal is born? Who should Rachel Alexandra's be after her Bernardini filly? I would like to see Zenyatta bred to Malibu Moon. I'm not so sure about Rachel Alexandra though? Maybe Blame?

I have worked at Belmont and have fallen in love with the racing industry. I"m looking into becoming an exercise rider and or jockey. I know its hard work and that it is very cut throat but it's what I love. Horse are my life and racing plays a major role in it. I am having trouble locating jockey schools in the US. I know of 2. I also know that they are few and far between. It does not have to be a jockey school just a place where I can learn the skills that I need to become a jockey. Thank you for any help that you can give me.

I have a retired polo mare. She is a 16 yr old Argentine TB around 15.3 hands. I am looking for someone to come ride her or free lease her. She is completely sound and has no vices that I know of. She does need a more experienced rider though( has a lot of energy). If you live in or near Lynchburg VA and are interested please let me know. Thanks

ARE YOU SITTING STRAIGHT IN THE SADDLE? Regardless of which discipline you ride, it's very important to sit straight and square in the saddle. Can you tell if you're collapsing at your waist and sitting crookedly? Ask a ground person to stand behind you. 1. Are your shoulders level (i.e. the same height)? 2. Is your seat in the center of the saddle so that each seatbone is the same distance from the middle of the saddle? If your shoulders aren't level which means that one shoulder is lower than the other, you're collapsed at your waist, your shoulders aren't the same height, and your seat isn't in the middle of the saddle. Here are 3 simple tips to help you sit straight and square: Let's say you've collapsed the left side of your waist, your left shoulder is lower, and your seat is off to the right. 1. Bring your right seat bone over and place it on top of an imaginary line that runs down the center of the saddle from the pommel to the cantle. You won't really be on…
