My mare recently banged the inside of her leg with her shoe and irritated an old splint on the inside of her leg. She is not lame or anything, but I would like to somehow protect the splint from being knocked again; it is quite prominent at the moment and I am worried she will hit it again. She lives outside in a pasture with other horses 24/7. What would you suggest to protect her leg? I don't want to use standing wraps because she lives outdoors, but what about no-bows? I am also only around the barn once per day to change wraps. Any ideas?

Do you think evetns like ranch versitily lend them selves more to a rancher or other person who owns and uses a using horses (a type of horse that can do alittle bit of everything normally seens on a ranch) compete to a professional horse trainer, since there are sop many different things that the horse has to do?
I have started my horse on a whole food diet and it is amazing the physical and mental change. I owe it all to Bio Star Eq. I encourge everyone to at least check out the profound research and evidence on whole food diets for horses and give Bio Star Eq a call. They are excellent at helping you come up with a feeding program and it is actually cheaper than buying commercial grains. I will NEVER feed a commercial grain again! Check out these links. Hi my name is Rori. I am looking to work for an older single woman who is living on her own and who has her own horse farm and in need of assistance. I have a horse and a dog that I would like to bring with me too. I would be willing to do the barn chores. I do hope that there is an indoor arena I can ride in after the chores are finished at the end of the day. I do ride dressage and western pleasure. I do hope that she would allow me to live in the house with her to help her in any way that she needed and I would also be there to keep her company. I live between Hamilton and Guelph, Ontario, Canada. So I would be willing to move to the area surrounding Guelph, Fergus, etc... Here is my email address: email@example.com
