I feel like crap. I've owned Wendy since April 11, 2012, we moved her from the best (I don't like them- their just popular) stable in the county in June, because they were unwelcoming and were a bit rough with their horses. Then we moved her to Oak Haven, a total dream stable in Indiana. We kept her there from June to May 2013 because I was like the only rider. So we moved her to Boyer Equestrian to train for jumping (since we didn't have a trainer). Now, I want to move her back to Oak Haven because Boyer Equestrian is still under construction and the arena is the size of a carousel, and the pastures are squares the size of a 2 car garage without grass. Wendy has hesitated riding there because the arena is spooky, and I don't even think she's gone to the pasture since! Now my trainer is pissed off at me, and so is my mom! Sometime when I lead my horse she will just stop walking! I just keep going as if she is still walking and then she'll start walking again. Any suggestions?

I cant seem to get my canter seat right in english 2 weeks ago was when i last rode english and i had my canter seat right. do u think its where ive been practicing western pleasure? and can u give me some tips to improve it

Sometimes my horse sorta nips me. I don't call it bite because it is not hard enough to hurt. Is she playing or being mean? I normally smack her for it.

Eventually I want to ride my horse down our little country road. It's really pretty with green pastures and birds singing and cattle grazing and even the occasional goose on a pond. I am concerned however about several things. First off there is a stallion that lives about two miles down the road. He is in a big pasture but tends to stand in the shade trees near the road. His pen is a barbed wire fence will it hold him if he were to get excited? How should I handle that situation? Also do you think people will be curtious enough to slow down and not honk at us?

How good under saddle does your horse have to be before you ride bare back? Any tips for riding bare back? How might my 3 year old respond to being ridden bare back? ( after I get a little better at riding with a saddle I want to try it on her)
