How often are you supposed to deworm a horse? And does how often you deworm change in the winter than in the summer? What product do you suggest for deworming a horse? I don't really know all that much about deworming so any helpful information would be appreciated! :)

How many people out there are all for bringing slaughter back into our country? There are so many horses out there starving or being hauled in semi trailers to Canada and Mexico. Don't the anti-slaughter people see that what went into effect is even more of a cruelty to the horses than slaughter? I just want to know if there is anyone else out there that gets really angry at this reality.

ok, my parents make me wear a helmet any time i am on the back of a horse, about 4 months ago (b4 aspen got hurt) one of my parents friends was riding a very very green broke horse, and got thrown, and the horse was running free in an open area with all the tack on, so i hoped on my horse aspen (bareback and only with a hlater and lead rope) and galloped towards the horse, after about an hour of pretty much cutting and running around like a mad man a caught the horse (all the while without a helmet) well my parents are'nt budging, even tho i have proved i am a good rider (i am the only one in the family who even knows how to ride) who do you think is right?? i wear a helmet when i jump and tuff but i think if i am just palying around that i should be aloud to not wear one, your opinions?

Has anyone bought a Mondega saddle before, the Conquiste model in particular? I am looking into that saddle, as I need something around that price range, with an interchangeable gullet system, but still want a nice soft calf skin seat, and knee rolls (so a wintec is out of the question). All I know about the Mondega's is that they're made in the same factory as the Pessoa saddles, and that they are very comfortable. Does anyone have experience with these saddles? This saddle can be seen on Greenhawks website.

Is it just me or does anyone else hate it when non-horsepeople say horseback riding is easy and that it is just sitting on the horses back when it isnt?
