Hi, I'm Reed Wood. I'd like to talk to you today about choosing a good cutting horse. I've been in the business for 15 years. The first thing we look at is confirmation. We like a horse with a lot of confirmation, a lot of looks, good legs, good strong legs, good feet. We like a horse with good blood lines. Their daddies and mommas, we like a good strong pedigree. We always look at what their parents and their grandparents done. We look at the third generation. We go back sometimes third generation, three generations back to see what their grandpas and their grandmas has done. We like a horse that thinks for himself, a good cowy horse, a horse that will get you out of trouble, a horse that is really easy to train, a real trainable horse, a horse that you can teach, teach something and he'll remember the next day. And I'm Reed Wood, and that's how you choose a good cutting horse.
