They are good riders! They're just moving with the horse! Also, they kick them to keep them going, you can tell the horses would slow down otherwise, and wouldn't respond to other ways of telling them to "go."
Plus, they're only 12 or 13, so you can't expect perfection from them! I'm certainly not perfect yet! (And nor will I ever be, nobody is)

I disagree with Stevie. I'm only 13. Age has absolutly nothing to do with riding. They do over kick them and pull on there horses mouth too much. They need to have a tighter leg and keep better contact with there horse and then they wouldn't be pulling on there horses mouth a lot. But it's just a T.V show and i like this show even if they have a lot to learn about riding. And some things in riding can be perfect. Everybody has one of those days where it is perfect.

Don't worry about it guys. It's a TV show so all of their movements are overexaggerated so that the audience can see them. I'm sure that they don't ride that badly in real life.
