The best German competitor in the Bruxelles Grand Prix was Lars Nieberg riding his mount Lord Luis. The team Olympic champion from Atlanta and Sydney ranked third and was happy to win the prize money of 30.000 Euro shortly before Christmas.
There were only 10 pairs in the jump-off of the Grand Prix at the CSI***** Audi Masters in Bruxelles. The 47-year-old Gerco Schröder from the Netherlands claimed victory riding Euromcommerce New Orleans. The pair had a clear round in 45.17 seconds. The second place went to the French Simon Delestre and Couletto finishing the round in 44.72 seconds.
The USA’s Laura Kraut riding Cedric was fourth in the best time in the Jump Off – 41.31, however a rail cost her the win.
