The World Equestrian Games represents a golden opportunity for an equine massage therapist to work with many animals to help them compete better in the various events. Learn about the World Equestrian Games in this video on equine kinesiology.
Hello, my name is Jennifer Oliver, and I'm an equine massage therapist. This year for the World Equestrian Games was very busy for me, you know, I was working on quite a few of the competitor's horses and then all the people that are in town. As far as networking goes, you know, that was just a very good experience all the way around and it was really great to watch some of the horses that I got to work on compete in the games. You know, the busiest time of year, it really starts picking up in the Spring, really strong in the Summer and kind of starts fading off in the Fall as people slow down their show schedules for the holidays. Now, my horses that get done on a regular basis, you know, that's a very consistent, set of massages. In the Winter months I go down to Florida, Ocala, Florida once a month usually for about a week, once in February and once in March.
