When getting ready for a hunter-jumper show, there are many steps to take. To begin with, make sure that your tack is well-cleaned, paying attention to the details like making sure your bit is shiny and clean and that your stir ups are well-cleaned. You're going to want a nice white, fitted saddle pad. It should be in good condition and very white and clean. You'll want to next to make sure that you have the proper show attire which will be a pair of riding pants that are in good shape, that's fairly new. You tall boots should be very black and shiny, well-polished and you should have a show shirt and a show coat that are in good condition and clean as well as a nice helmet and a hair net to keep your hair up and tidy and a pair of gloves. And your horse will need to be well-clipped and groom, enjoy its tail being brushed out and you're probably need to braid your horse's mane and make sure that they are no stains or visible marks on your horse's body. The most important part of preparing for a horse show is the work you do everyday with your horse. Taking regular lessons and riding everyday is the best way to make sure you're ready for any show soon.
