Could you possibly do a video of dressage moves and how to train your horses how to do them? If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I have a hard time understanding my trainer... He has an accent that has a tendency to be hard to destinguish what he's really saying...

you should probably look into a different trainer if you have a hard time understanding him :) I wont take a lesson from a trainer who doesn't talk the whole time. I like to have a constant critique

Dressage riding is the base of all riding. It really exercises the fundamentals of riding, and gives you a real groundwork, for anything else you want to do with your horse. As a jumper rider, I try to incorporate dressage riding into everyday riding, and instill it into all of my students. Dressage riding focuses on your connection between your leg and your hand. It focuses on your horse's reactions to your aids. It focuses on flexibility, and straightness, and general responsiveness of your horse, and really the connection, between you and your horse. Some of the different things that you'll do in dressage, compared to maybe just normal hunt seat riding, or basic riding, would be lateral movements, such as leg yield, shoulder in, haunches in, and half-pass.
