"EquestrianLife.com is about connecting horse lovers across the country, in every breed and discipline," said Deana Bergquist, President and Co-Founder of EquestrianLife.com. "We are thrilled to join four incredible associations to help more people discover the wonder of riding or driving for FREE."
Learn to Ride and Drive in Style is an innovative promotion that can help people ease into the equestrian industry by providing information about different disciplines and breeds and get them in the saddle or the carriage for the first time. The goal of the program is to increase awareness of saddle seat riding and driving in the show ring and other venues, in addition to developing concepts of the sport, such as high energy, safe, modern, glamorous, uniquely American, and fun for all ages.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of the American Morgan Horse Association to the extremely popular Equestrian Life Learn To Ride and Drive in Style Program. We are so pleased to continue to bring together the United Professional Horseman's Association, American Saddlebred Horse Association, the American Hackney Horse and Pony Society and the American Morgan Horse Association for one common goal: To promote, expose and give access to our wonderful horses and ponies.
This project is the first marketing project we have taken on as a team that not only showcases our product, it actually gives the horse lover a way to enter the world of American Saddlebred and Morgan horses and Hackney horses and ponies by giving free riding and driving lesson coupons.
We know once they discover our amazing American Saddlebred and Morgan horses and Hackney horses and ponies, they will be hooked for life. The UPHA is proud to be a part of this exciting endeavor," said Bret C. Day, UPHA President.

Tandy Patrick, President of ASHA, stated, "Our membership is so excited to have the opportunity to continue our very successful partnership with Equestrian Life on its ‘Learn to Ride and Drive in Style’ program. This is such a great way for us to showcase and promote our breed to folks across the United States, and to the world, which may not be familiar with our American Saddlebred horse.
The American Saddlebred differs from other horses in conformation and heritage, giving him unique and desirable qualities. Perhaps the most unusual trait of the American Saddlebred is his temperament; he is a handsome, proud, high-stepping horse, alert and curious, sometimes referred to as a “fire-breathing dragon”, who is also a very intelligent, people-oriented horse with a unique personality, endearing him to his owners and admirers.
Our horses are equally comfortable in a glamorous Hollywood show ring setting with lights and music and large crowds; a quiet wooded trail ride; a grueling endurance competition; jumping; on a pleasure ride; driving; or in the dressage ring. Thank you to Equestrian Life for helping us involves the American Saddlebred horse in the Equestrian Life program!”

“Harry Sebring, President of AMHA, added “AMHA was immediately drawn to the Equestrian Life program because it provides a wonderful opportunity to expose people of varied interests and skills to the love and friendship of a horse. The Morgan horse is known for its people pleasing personality – he becomes your companion and friend from the instant you meet him. This program is a way to jumpstart that relationship by offering free riding and driving lesson coupons. We also feel the program will expose people to the diverse programs we offer at AMHA and help them to experience that sense of family and community involvement horses bring. We’re delighted to join UPHA, ASHA and AHHS in this effort.”

Randy Harper is the AHHS President and he noted, "As President of the AHHS and past president of the UPHA, the main goal I have for the Equestrian Life program is to increase awareness of the Hackney breed. We also hope to increase activities involving the Hackneys and encourage pony trainers and owners to be approachable to all levels of interest and help grow the Society in a positive manner. We want to let people know that anyone can learn to drive and ride a Hackney; they are very versatile and the most athletic equines in the World. I think the Learn to Ride and Drive in Style program has all the key elements to make these goals happen."
