Lisa Seger, a Markel Equine Insurance Specialist, and Gil Merrick, Former Director of Dressage (2005-2009) for the United States Equestrian Federation, discuss the Markel/USEF Young Horse Program which began in 2002. The program for 4, 5 and 6 year old horses is designed to prepare these horses for future careers at the FEI level and participation on the U.S. High Performance teams.
