Equestrian Life is an online community for horse people.
We bring together horse people across all disciplines, breeds and sports.
We invite you to connect with others who love horses as much as you do.
To personalize a horse halter, find companies that offer engraved nameplates, embroidered fabric halters or other name tags that can be hooked to the halter rings. Personalize a horse's halter with advice from a riding instructor in this video on equestrian living.
Sometimes we wish to personalize or identify our equipment, and in halters there are a number of ways that we can do that. It's easy to look in catalogs for horses and find a number of people who manufacture nameplates that can be put on your halter or your bridle, or even your saddle for that matter, that will identify either your name or the horse's. Those are special ordered, and again you'll find those looking in through catalogs. Another way that you personalize a halter is to purchase a nylon halter similar to this, and they will engrave or stitch your horse's name or your name here on this nose piece, sometimes the cheek piece, and most likely those are the two places that you would personalize your horse halter with stitching. The other way that you might do it is very simply you can go to Petsmart, or any of the pet stores that do those machine produced name tags. We do that with a lot of our school horses because it's easy to obtain, very simple way to put a little round rag on each and every halter or bridle that you have, and that will personalize your item at less cost and easier to find. So those are ways that you can personalize your equipment, whether it's a halter, or a lead rope, and/or your bridle or saddle, through either the use of a nameplate made out of metal that screws in and through the bridle or halter, or they'll monogram it in if you order it such, or you can just simply go to your pet store and find some of those tags that you can make by machine.
