When it comes to keeping your horse, very important is ventilation for your horses when they're in the barn. You have windows, it's nice to keep them open and keep the clean, fresh air come through, keep the ammonia smell out. It's important to keep their stalls dry especially during the winter when it's so cold. And if you keep your horses in a running shed, it's important to also keep the running shed cleaned out at all times. You'll also have to pick it out everyday until they're in stall, but make sure they have a dry, cleaned place to lay down and plenty of hay and water to get to.
