The components of spinning or turning a horse that are judged are the start, the turn itself and the stop. Execute a flawless spin during a horse show with helpful advice in this video on riding and caring for horses.
When you're turning or spinning your horse, what the judges look for, again, is willingness. There's really three components to your turnaround, is one is the start, the turn itself and the stop. When you start your horse is where you should also stop your horse. You're penalized for being over or under from the point from where you started, which is in line with columns in the show pen. What you're looking for is a soft fluid movement of their front legs. They should ideally sit on one foot, which would be the inside foot, and turn around it, and I'll pivot. The outside front leg should cross over the inside leg.
