America's Buck Davidson following his showjumping round at Rolex
Bruce (Buck) Davidson Jr Buck Davidson Jr has horses and eventing running through his veins. His father Buck Davidson Sr is a highly successful three-day eventer.
Buck amassed an impressive record of accomplishments in the equestrian field from an early age, though he started out his career as a fox hunter and timber racer. He won the Open Timber race at Bradywine Hills Point to Point in 1992.
While his father, Bruce Davidson, Sr. was three-day eventing in Europe in 1995, Buck remained in the United States and kept the string of horses which had been left behind fit and in winning form. His successful partnership with Trans Am A Flirt resulted in a fifth place finish this year at the Rolex/Kentucky CCI***. Due to that impressive finish, Buck was awarded the USET's Markham Trophy as the highest placed Young Rider at the competition.
Thirty-two-year-old Buck has more than 10 years of three-day eventing success.
