Working with student riders can be done one-on-one or in small groups, but the individual-based lessons are usually much more productive. Understand how instructors choose their students with helpful tips from an experienced Grand Prix rider in this video on horseback riding.
Perfect ride. Excellent Julia. Go ahead and walk and we'll do the combination. How I pick the people that I want to help is my program's a lot different. I'm more individual based with many horses. I prefer to have one rider with three or four with big goals than to have a person that just is a pleasure rider. I'm not very good with those kind of people because I'm so driven and I want results and success so bad that sometimes I overwhelm people that just want to ride for fun. So for me what I look for in a rider that I choose to help or I accept in my program is somebody that has really got big goals and big dreams. And to go to the Olympics or to go to the world championships first it starts with a dream. And I love people that dream. No matter how many times when I did everything I've done and gone to the Olympics. I'm the first person to ever go from my country. It was very difficult to go because the qualifications are so hard. And when I would tell people that I was going to go they would think I'm crazy. But if you can't dream you can't expect other people to help you get there so I really look for riders that dream big. No matter if it seems silly when you tell people. And if you can dream it you can achieve it. I'm 100% sure of that. Perfect ride, perfect ride. Brilliant. Absolutely perfect.
