So today we're going to talk about proper dressage attire and for everyday riding, what you would wear. And what is proper and what is functionable and also safe. So definitely, you need to have proper riding breaches, which in most dressage breaches, in this case have full seat leather pants, at the back. And also all the way down the leg, which you can't see right now because I have my riding boots on. But there are many different styles of breaches, it just depending on what you're more comfortable with. For a lot of the younger generation, you can get the low rise breaches, you can get higher waisted pants. You can have pockets, no pockets, just depending on what you like. Different colors, different styles, everything out there and many different brands. Then of course, you need to have riding boots, which in this case, these are dressage boots. So this make is Cavallo and they come all the way up the leg, nice and high. That it elongates the lower part of the leg, which is a nicer style, which I prefer myself. And then these particular boots also have zippers on the inside, which is just for convenience, because I ride twenty four seven. You know, I like to get in and out of my boots a little bit better, quicker, rather than use a boot jack. So what you look for in a riding boot is, also you can have a lower end riding boot, a higher end riding boot, depending on what you would like. They're usually made from leather. You can of course, have rubber riding boots as well and definitely that they have a nice heel here. And you can also wear Half Chaps, which are a little Paddock boot with a nice sort of, half chap that Velcros around, as well. Definitely, you proper dress in dressages to include a spur. And in this case, I'm wearing a rowel, which has a little bit of a skinny, almost pizza cutter like little knob on the back here. That's a very important, that it continues to move and a spur should only be worn when the rider is confident in their leg. And knows how to use spurs properly with the help of your trainer. And also, riding gloves, very important that you wear riding gloves. Because I think it definitely saves your hands from getting blisters. And I think gloves are pretty general in every discipline. So you know, these are SSG gloves and they're specifically made for dressage. But they come in many different colors as well. So for everyday riding purposes, it's very important to also wear a helmet everyday, when you're riding. Because it protects your head and actually you should wear an approved helmet. Which you can find anywhere now, in any Tack shop. And this is very important to wear in your everyday riding.
