Hi, I'm Cyrus Confectioner, Secretary of Calcutta Polo Club. One of the main equipment which is required to play Polo is the Polo boot. It forms a protection for the players legs; very important in this game. You will see the front part is very form and even the back so as to minimize injury. This is made of, actually, very good leather and the better the Polo player, he is very particular about this protective gear. As you'll see there's a zip in front which enables the person to put his foot in comfortably with the buckle on top. This basically is used for, as a very protective measure because the feet are very important in any sport. Most Polo players have different preferences regarding the style, flexibility and weight of their riding boots obviously. Most Polo boots are brown leather for practical reasons. Black boots polished would stain the white Polo breeches during the game. Polo boots also protect the players leg; also from the sticks and as well as bumps from other rider. Polo boots provide surface to grip the sides of the horses. Equestrian riding boots come in different styles and quality. When buying Polo boots please remember to firs select the pair that is very comfortable for you. That is one of the main parts about selecting boots before playing. And this shoe offers the rider and the player total protection against an injury. This are made according to specification of the player; his size; his, the ankle size, everything; they're made absolutely to a particular specification given by the Polo players. Thank you.
