Hi I'm Judy Smith from Battle Ground, Washington, been trail riding for many, many years. I am here to talk to you about how to get into trail riding. If you have never ridden a horse or been around horses before, please go to your local stables, and take a few lessons. Get comfortable with the horse, learn the dos and don'ts, how to be around a horse, and hopefully they will have trails close by that you can go out, and you gradually work up to that. If you have a horse, you have been gaming, you have been doing competitive stuff, and you just want to get out there and go, go ahead and contact your local trail riding club. We have several in our Washington, down here in Washington we have like a Washington trail riders. I belong to a Mount St. Helen's chapter back country horseman. We have a parent organization, back country horseman of America you can go there, and find if there is a chapter in your state, because they are throughout the United States, and they work on trails, they ride the back country, they love helping new people get started. So get out there and have a great ride.
