The Arabian breed of horse is the oldest of all known horse breeds, and every other breed variety possesses Arabian roots. Explore the extensive history of this regal breed with helpful advice from the owner of a training and riding facility in this video on Arabian horses.
Hi my name is Tim Wigren. I'm the owner and operator of Command Performance and today I'm here to talk to you about the history of the Arabian horse. The Arabian horse is the oldest of all known breeds of horses. All horses from Shetland to Shire possess Arabian blood in their pedigree. While it is the largest breed of horse known to man and the most varied breed of horse known to man it is actually still despite its name a breed which its origin is not known. All breeds originate from this breed and there are many derivations of this breed. Everywhere from Russia to Egypt to Saudi Arabia to Poland and even as well known as up in Mongolia. Arabian horses have been around. They've been spoils of war ever since the Dark Ages all the way to World War II. As a matter of fact one of the first possessions taken in the Gulf War was Kuwait's Arabian horses as well as during World War II there have been all different breeds of Arabian horses that have been scattered throughout the world and as a breed of choice the Arabian horse is the most versatile breed of horse and my personal preference for the highest recommendation.
